A shared beginning

Matthew and Rhosanna met through their university surf club in 2015. Making things together became part of everyday life: prints, skateboards, a magazine, and eventually their first surfboard in the kitchen.

Room to make things

An old warehouse became a shared home for shaping and glassing. Four shaping bays, a laminating space upstairs, visiting shapers and friends learning from one another. Collaboration was part of the craft.

Since 2025 · Micro Surf Factory

A smaller space. Still making.

Today, Matthew shapes and laminates in a twelve-square-metre micro factory. The café and bar in Aljezur brings their boards, creative projects and local community together. The workshop keeps evolving.
